Referrals are not required to book an appointment. We welcome everyone and the office is equipped for examination of people of all ages. Digital retinal imaging and visual field testing are available. We know it is a challenge, so we will try to inform you in advance if your pupils need to be dilated. At this time, fewer appointments are available due to COVID safety requirements so book early for a time that suits you.
Some Saturday appointments are available and are especially good after enjoying a coffee from Smile Tiger just down the street.

An extensive selection of frames is available from budget to boutique. Many of our lenses are manufactured in CANADA , as well as those with the finest quality optics from Germany, such as Zeiss. We are happy to do small repairs and adjust the frames you purchase here and clean them using ultrasound. A variety of warranties are available of nearly all products.

No need to leave your old frames with us when getting new lenses! They can often be cut on- site while you wait. And no need to pay extra for this “in-an-hour” service.

We participate in the EYE SEE EYE LEARN program which provides a completely FREE pair of glasses to 4 year old junior kindergarten students. As well, we have a JUNIOR program which provides a free -no -questions -asked new set of lenses to children under 16 yr of age, if within 16 months of original purchase , their lenses become damaged or even lost. No need to worry about waiting 2 years for your insurance to renew! Dr.Dippel also fits Myopia control contact lenses to slow the progression of rapidly progressive nearsightedness.

FREE DELIVERY of your contact lenses is available to your home or office during COVID. Current patients can reorder contact lenses via email. We will forward to you any rebates available for your lenses whether dailies, astigmatism, multifocals or gas permeables.
