Dr. Valerie Dippel Optometrist

She is a recipient of the Helen Keller Award and the Ontario Association of Optometrists’ Millennial Award. Since 2001 she continues to serve annually as a volunteer optometrist on eye care missions to Guatemala with VOSH (Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity) Ontario. As a result, she is able to conduct examinations in Spanish. She is the former chair of the Waterloo Wellington and District Optometric Society and has served on the Optometry Admissions Committee at the University of Waterloo.

Homegrown in Kitchener, Valerie loves to spend time with her growing family. When not at the office you may find her digging in her garden, doing laps in the pool, paddling a kayak or, passport in hand, travelling. If she must sit, it will be to watch the Raptors or with her book club, Chicks Can Read. Although she plays several instruments and loves music, she is unfortunately, a terrible singer.
